The Broad Center at Yale School of Management
Executive Coaching for Senior Education Leaders
Senior education leaders make decisions that ripple across organizations, schools, and communities. Their days leave little room to step back from what is urgent, see the larger pattern, or consider how their own leadership is shaping what happens next.
Our partnership
Through The Broad Center at Yale School of Management, Good Influence provides sustained, one-on-one coaching to senior education leaders working in complex and demanding roles.
The coaching is both holistic and intensely practical. It begins with the full landscape of a leader’s work and life: their aspirations, strengths, values, pressures, relationships, and responsibilities. Some engagements include a structured 360-degree process, combining a comprehensive survey administered through a dedicated platform with focused interviews of colleagues and stakeholders. The findings offer a candid, confidential picture of how others experience the leader and help shape focused priorities for growth.
Sessions center on real work: organizational structure, executive teams, personnel decisions, board relationships, time and priorities, difficult conversations, and the challenges that arrive without a playbook. Together, coach and leader look beneath the immediate problem, consider different paths, and decide what to do next.
The support does not begin and end with scheduled meetings. Leaders can reach out between sessions when a decision is pressing, a conversation needs preparation, or new information changes the equation. Each engagement combines reflection, real-time problem-solving, practical tools, and accountability—supporting not only the leader’s performance, but the person carrying the role.
